How to Craft with Us
Crafting 101 is designed to help you build confidence with every project. As you work through the classes, you'll create a variety of beginner-friendly items using the blanks included in your kit, with step-by-step guidance on HTV, DTF, vinyl, sublimation and decoupage. You'll also learn how to choose the right materials, avoid common mistakes, and achieve professional-looking results from home.
Throughout the course, Michele shares the recommended settings for each technique so you can craft with confidence. Learn when to press HTV at approximately 150–160°C for 10–15 seconds, how to apply DTF transfers at around 150–160°C for 10–15 seconds using medium to firm pressure, allow the transfer to cool before peeling, then repress for 5–10 seconds using lighter pressure with baking paper or a Teflon sheet. You'll also discover the correct temperatures, times and pressure for sublimation projects on a range of blanks. Every lesson explains not just what settings to use, but why they matter. To help your DTF projects last longer, wash garments inside out in cold water, avoid using a clothes dryer, and do not dry clean.
